Western-belt turmeric, mustard and fenugreek for tadka, curry leaves, Ghats-edge black pepper, and pearl millet from rainfed districts.

Karnataka

Ragi, Byadgi, cardamom, siridhanya.

Finger millet from Mandya and neighbors. Haveri’s GI Byadgi chili. Hill cardamom. Foxtail, little millet, kodo, barnyard, sorghum, and browntop millet from dryland farms.
